What is a typical shoot with you like? What can I expect?

So a typical shoot is usually pretty straight to the point. Between getting to know you and bad dad jokes, I do my best to keep the shoot moving along! Florida heat is no joke, and I want you to look and feel your best. I'll pose you and your fam, or boo, so you can just relax and enjoy the shoot. Also, if you're a Pinterest guy or gal, I'll probably look up your photo board for inspo ;-)

I pride myself in remembering names and/or trying to learn your names before shoots happen. I love feeling prepared and personal. I know what it's like feeling uncomfortable in front of the camera, so I do my best to make you feel as comfortable as possible.

What if I cancel?

That's okay! I've refrained from doing retainer fees in the past, but I have recently set those in place in order to ensure that I can save the date you're booking. These fees are nonrefundable. From the moment you book, I turn down all other inquiries for the day you've chosen. I understand that life happens and sudden events take place, no worries! The retainer fee is transferrable to another date, but only once. If we reschedule a third time, there will be an additional retainer fee.

Do you deliver every image you shoot? Or RAW images?

Nope! I deliver any and all photos that I love and think you will love, too. Typically for an hour shoot, I will deliver 50-70 photos.

I have not and will not return RAW images. I trust that you have hired me because you love my work; therefore, delivering RAW images isn't necessary.

Do you shoot weddings?

Yes! Use the contact form and I will email you back wedding packages ASAP!

What is your turn around time?

For weddings, I aim to return your images within 4-6 weeks. I remember the anxious waiting for the return of my wedding photos, so I will definitely return them to you asap!

For sessions, I try to return within 1-2 weeks. Again, I get the waiting part. No fun. I got you!

What is your style? Favorite types of shoots?

I love a bright, contrasted, and warm photo. I've definitely found a style this year (2021) that I love, and I would consider my photos to be light and airy.

My favorite shoots are family shoots. Hands down. I love kiddos. I'm a first time mom and have worked with children a large portion of my life, and I really enjoy encouraging and connecting with them. Couples and portrait shoots take second place, but I, of course, love taking those, too :)

Do you offer video?

I do not! But I have some fantastic references. Send me a message and I will be sure to link you!

Favorite time of day to shoot?

Not gonna lie, I love a good sunset shoot and the 30 minutes that follow (I've heard this called blue hour but who knows!) I always find that shoots are just a great way to end the day. So I really love ending my day doing what I love.

But also...early morning shoots are super magical so...ya know...I love those too.
